This 3D-printed oil filter socket is designed around the CTA Manufacturing 2464 oil filter standard (74mm x 14-flute), commonly used across many German vehicles, including Porsche, BMW, Volkswagen, and Audi.

Originally designed and tested during an oil change on a Porsche Cayman, this tool worked flawlessly at factory torque.

Print & Use Notes

• Printed on Bambu Lab P2S
• PETG-HF filament (recommended)
• ~75% infill for strength
• Supports enabled during printing
• Compatible with 3/8” drive
• Tested using a 27mm socket for added leverage
• Successfully torqued to 25 Nm (factory spec)

Material Recommendation

• PETG / PETG-HF required
• PLA is not recommended due to heat and torque loads
