Desktop Reef #2 (Sea Turtle)

Today we look at the sea turtle. There are seven different species of sea turtles in Earths oceans.

  • Six of the seven species can be found throughout the oceans in warm and cool waters with the seventh native to only Australia
  • Sea turtles navigate long migrations sometimes thousands of miles using the Earths magnetic field
  • Most of their juvenile life is a mystery to us we don't know what they are up to out in the deep
