Beating Hearts - Expanding Sensory Fidget

The Beating Hearts - Expanding Sensory Fidget is a visually striking, tactile sensory fidget. Built from layered, concentric heart forms, the design expands outward and contracts inward as you gently pull the center heart or push it back into place, creating a rhythmic, heartbeat-like movement.

The motion is fluid, controlled, and satisfying. As the layers slide past one another, the heart appears to “pulse” in and out, offering a calming visual effect and a quiet, hands-on interaction that’s ideal for focus, reflection, or idle moments at a desk.

The stepped heart geometry creates depth and visual flow, making the fidget engaging from every angle. Each layer moves cleanly without flexing or deformation, allowing the motion to feel precise and intentional rather than soft or squishy.

The model prints cleanly without supports and works well in a wide range of filaments. 

Included are two sizes, a 100mm version, and a smaller 78mm as well. Please make sure you have a clean build plate as the bottom surface is fairly small. If you run into issues, try sinking the model below the build plate by about 0.5mm in Bambu Studio!
