Keystone Passthrough for 2-13mm Cable + Blank

Need to pass a cable of some size through a keystone panel or just plug empty port for cleaner aesthetics? Fear not, Im here to give you a clean single part printed solution for that!

I created this to work together with my Unifi Flex Mini 2.5G 0.5U 10" rack mount that has a keystone port (much more useful than just a hole if you ask me) for passing thru either the USB-C power cable or something else but obviously this works with other keystone panels too. Instead of more complex multi-part models this one is inspired by the many models with living hinges that are easy to create with 3D-printers. Not sure how many fold-unfold cycles it will last but I'd guess the answer is “plenty enough for what you are going to use this for”. 

 

Please increase elephants foot compensation if you get ugly ridge on the final product like I did in the pictures.

Usage:

1. Carefully remove from the print bed
2. Insert a 2-13mm cable thru the part (skip if using just a blank, obviously)
3. Fold together the sides that face the bed

4. Insert into keystone panel (this locks the folded sides together)
