Description
The Evolution of the Button.
The Mark 2 of Pattern Weights.
A simple button to use as a weight to hold your drawings, paper sketches, or paper patterns on your workbench. The bottom profile is designed to make them stackable and keep them organized among your equipment, and it's also very attractive, perhaps if printed in a multitude of different colors. Compared to the first version (https://makerworld.com/it/models/468813-sewing-button#profileId-378010), which required printing everything in a single print, with a pause to allow for the installation of weights, mainly leads, the new model is designed in 3 components to be assembled. With the new system, you can choose from a wider range of products to create the internal weight, such as fishing leads, sand, liquid silicone, or anything else you can think of. Furthermore, by printing the flat component directly on the print bed, the surface finish is also better (in my case I used the textured bed, but you could use any other glitter or star bed) and you can print your name.
Inside the print profile, you'll also find the assembly tool, which allows you to perfectly align the components. Of course, everything is assembled with a few drops of cyanoacrylate glue.
