Crochet Hook 7mm - Ergonomic A1Mini compatable

Ergonomic CROCHET Hook - 7mm (based on a wooden hook I was gifted)

Having been successful with the 7mm crochet hook I was asked how the lovely A1 Mini owners out there could also have this hook so i've created this version that is split into two sections and then joined once printed.  I will need some glue to complete and I have left the tolerance comfortable enough to take a thin layer of glue whilst still fitting well.  You will need to clean up the brims as per normal  and use an emery board to tidy up the hook after the tree has been removed.  It takes no more than a minute. Nothing else has changed about this popular design other than the ability to print in two halves and rejoin which actually gives you the option to be creative with colours and mix and match should you wish to.  I printed these samples with Amazon Basic Filament PLA Silk Silver and Gold but having checked the A1 Mini bed height i've concluded that this should print just fine.  Its overall length is still 19.2cm. Takes 2 hours to print and uses 21g of filament.

For best RESULTS follow these simple steps…

• Always print in a silk filament - it will give you the smoothest finish
• Only print from Bambu Studio so you can check the settings, I have saved the settings with the file but to be on the safe side I am including the changes that I found made a huge difference to the smoothness of the hook and it's ultimate comfort and ease of use.

1. Ensure the Supports setting is ticked and that you choose type: tree (auto) and style: tree strong - this will give you the supports as per my photos 
2. Aways, always use Glue on the print bed! I've not tried without but you'll be asking alot from your printer in terms of the item rising up the Z axis on such a relatively small bottom!
