Organize your hex bits perfectly with this parametric holder for the Frenchfinity system.
This is a fully customizable angled bit holder designed to fit standard Frenchfinity cleats. It features a solid-body construction with vertical holes, ensuring bits sit securely without poking through the bottom or back.
Key Features:
- Fully Parametric: Adjust the number of rows, columns, spacing, angle, and hole depth to fit your specific collection.
- Adjust Hex Size: Standard 6.35mm Hex Bit sizing but totally customizable to make the hex slots larger or smaller.
- Vertical Drilling: Holes are drilled vertically (straight down) regardless of the block angle. This prevents bits from falling out and keeps the openings perfect hexagons.
- System Compatible: Uses the standard Frenchfinity nut module for a perfect fit on your existing Frenchfinity rails. Works great on the Multi-Track Plate for custom storage
How to Customize:
- Click "Customize" to open the MakerWorld parametric modeler.
- Adjust Rows and Columns to match your set.
- Tweak Bit Tolerance if your printer runs tight or loose (0.2mm is standard).
- Change the Angle to suit your viewing preference (30° is default).
- Change depth for hex bit
Print Settings:
- Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS
- Infill: 15-20% (Grid or Gyroid recommended)
- Supports: Use “Normal” support instead of “tree” for best results.
- Orientation: Print as aligned (flat base on the build plate).
