Wanted Stark's axe. Made Stark's axe :)
- I am aware that the handle does seem a little thin, I originally wanted to wrap the handle in black leather, but could not find a source near me so i just left it as that.
Warning:
- Filling, Priming and sanding is required prior to painting for a good finish.
- Masking and painting is required. Model is not split by colour.
Before Printing Reccomendations:
- Supertack Plate is used in the 3mf file as I was worried about corners lifting and warping.
- Additional brims are reccomended if using other plates (untested)
- Full assembly (besides the metal pipe) is reccomended before filling priming and sanding.
Bill of materials:
- 155cm long 16mm outer diameter Metal Pipe (Handle)
- The maximum outer pipe diameter is 16.4mm (including tolerances added)
- Black & Silver Spray Paint
- Spray Filler / Bondo
- Cyanoacrylate/super glue (my preferred assembly method for 3d prints)
- Sandpaper :)
Total Stats:
- 161cm (Adjustable by cutting the metal pipe to a custom length)
- ~870g of filament used
Assembly:
- Should be pretty straight forward by looking at the photos.
- I've attached the configuration of the blade parts below
