Flex Enclosure KE15 – Basic Control Box (WH-1209)

This is the most basic control box add-on designed specifically for the Flex Enclosure – KE15 system.

The control box is built around the WH-1209 temperature controller (NTC 10K), providing reliable and accurate temperature monitoring for enclosed environments such as 3D printers, resin printers, laser engravers, or mini CNC setups.

  • Official Add-on: Specifically designed for Flex Enclosure – KE15.
  • Smart Cooling: Uses the WH-1209 (NTC 10K) to automatically turn cooling fans ON/OFF based on your preset thresholds.
  • Stable Environment: Helps stabilize enclosure temperature and improve printing consistency for high-temp materials.
  • Lighting Control: Supports an optional rocker switch for manual LED control inside the enclosure.
  • Maker-Friendly: Compact design, easy to print, and simple to assemble.

Switch Variants & Logic

This control box supports two switch variants depending on your wiring preference:

1. KCD1-101 (2-Pin Switch)

  • OFF → LED OFF + Auto Fan OFF
  • ON → LED ON + Auto Fan ENABLED 

2. KCD1-103 (3-Pin Switch - SPDT)

  • Position I → LED ON + Auto Fan ENABLED
  • Position O → FULL SYSTEM OFF
  • Position II → LED OFF + Auto Fan ENABLED

Technical Notes

  • Hardware Only: This is a 3D printed mechanical model. Electronic components (WH-1209, fans, switches, LEDs) are not included.
  • Print Settings: Designed for FDM printing. Use PETG or ABS if your enclosure frequently reaches high internal temperatures.
  • Assembly: Minimal supports may be required for certain orientations.
