Ghost – Classic Monster in my Pocket (Series 1) inspired figurine!

If you grew up with pocket-sized monsters rattling around in your school bag, this one should look very familiar.

This is my modern re-imagining of Ghost, inspired by the original 90s Monster in my Pocket figure. He keeps the instantly recognisable pose — hands clutched to his head, hollow scream of a skull-like face, and that eerie floating robe — with one crucial detail preserved: his head is separate from his body, held in place by his own hands, just like the original.

The design has been carefully updated with cleaner forms and sharper details while staying true to the chunky, toyetic feel of the classic figure. Particular care was taken to ensure the gap between head and body is clearly defined, while still keeping the model solid and printable.

The model shown here is printed at approximately 10 cm tall, which feels like a great balance between detail and display presence, but it should scale up or down without much trouble. It prints as a single, solid piece, making it straightforward to print and tidy up across a range of printers.

As with the Elbow Witch, I’m not the world’s most experienced print calibrator, so results may vary depending on printer and profile — and you’re very welcome to upload and share your own print profiles if you dial in a setup that works particularly well.

This figure is ideal for display, painting, or simply sitting on your desk looking permanently horrified.

This is very much a nostalgia-driven project, and if people enjoy it, I may revisit more creatures from the same era in the future 👀
