Description
“...a young boy clothed in green appeared as if from nowhere.
Wielding the blade of evil's bane, he sealed the dark one away and gave the land light."
― Legend of the Hero, Legend of Zelda: Windwaker
This is one of those images that you can hear in your head just by looking at it. The panels from the introductory Legend of the Hero have been arranged into one image. It took some work to get the pops of color in the triforce and Link's clothing, but it all came together quite nicely.
This is a five color design, so if using the AMS you may need to either have multiple units, or alternatively you can map the first color to print (black) to the same slot as one of the later colors (like white) then manually swap the spools while the other colors are printing. For the gradient to properly work in the light shaft, different filaments may behave in different ways. I used BambuLab filaments to hopefully give everyone a good baseline to work with, but you may get different results when choosing filaments from a different brand or with different transmission distance (TD) values.
Each print is 133.33x200mm and requires only five colors.
These prints display wonderfully with a 3d printed HueForge stand, such as the middle size shown here (as shown in the print photos):
