Description
Today’s design is a mechanical horse inspired by the Year of the Horse and its symbolism of energy, courage, momentum, and success. Instead of creating a static statue, I focused on a segmented, articulated look that suggests movement and strength even while standing still.
The horse features armor-like panels, visible joints, and layered details that reference motion and forward drive. Its posture is proud and balanced, designed to stand securely on all four legs without supports, making it ideal for desk or shelf display. The geometry is optimized for FDM printing and works well for both single-color prints and painted finishes.
Another focused step in my Everydays Challenge: practicing complex forms, clean segmentation, and expressive silhouettes while staying fully printable and practical.
