Description
Meet the shelf I designed to bring a bit of modern minimalism to my tea station.
I originally made it to sit next to my kettle as it is ideal for holding tea, coffee, mugs, and cups… but it can be used for anything really.
It features Bambulab matte charcoal black for a sturdy, stylish base, paired with Bambulab matte dark chocolate brown plates for a warm, clean finish.
Dimensions: 560mm wide × 250mm deep × 700mm tall
plates filament total: 1811g + 24.5g support
legs filament total: 980g + 34g support
total filament: 2849.5g
Pro tip: it’s recommended to print the test-fit model first to check your filament and ensure a proper fit before committing to the full print.
The rotation of the test print is deliberate as it mimics the same orientation the full model will sit in while printing, making the fit test as accurate as possible.
I highly recommend to use PLA support or PETG as the support interface to get the cleanest finished.
although the push fit should be tight as I dont plan to dissmantle this shelf I used PLA glue on all the connections for a sturdier build.
If anyone is intrested I can modify the plates to be modular so it can be built as wide as you want, currently it can only go as tall as you wish.
Boost MeIf you like my model please consider boosting me as it means alot, thank you!
