GASB TWO – The First Fully 3D-Printed EDF Jet That Conquered the Skies

Introduction

GASB TWO is not just another RC jet — it is a milestone in the world of 3D-printed aeromodelling.
It was the first fully 3D-printed EDF (Electric Ducted Fan) jet ever designed, printed, and successfully flown, opening the door to an entirely new generation of printable high-performance aircraft.

Since its release, GASB TWO has achieved over 45,000 downloads, and today hundreds of videos on YouTube show it flying at incredible speeds in skies all around the world. This is a proven design, loved by pilots, admired by spectators, and respected by makers.

If you are looking for a beautiful, aggressive, extremely fast, and rewarding 3D-printed jet, GASB TWO is the project for you.

Design Philosophy & Performance

GASB TWO was designed with three key goals in mind:

  • Extreme performance
  • Ease of printing
  • Precise, stress-free assembly

Despite being fully printable, this jet delivers real EDF jet performance.
With the recommended setup, top speed exceeds 250 km/h, making it an absolutely spectacular aircraft to watch in flight.

The aerodynamic shape is clean, modern, and aggressive — a design that looks fast even before takeoff. As you can clearly see in the many flight videos available online, GASB TWO slices through the air with authority and presence.

Ease of Printing

One of the strongest points of GASB TWO is how easy and reliable it is to print, even for users without advanced 3D printing experience.

  • Designed to print on standard FDM printers (better if Bambu Lab printer)
  • Optimized for minimal supports
  • Parts split intelligently to fit common build volumes
  • Excellent layer adhesion and strength with common materials

The model has been carefully engineered to ensure that every part prints cleanly, with no unnecessary complexity or fragile details.

Perfect Fit & Assembly

GASB TWO features precise, self-aligning joints and perfect interlocking parts, making assembly intuitive and satisfying.

  • No guesswork during alignment
  • Clean seams and strong joints
  • Logical assembly sequence
  • Very solid final structure

Thanks to the precision of the design, the aircraft goes together smoothly, even for first-time builders of EDF jets. Many users report being surprised by how straightforward and enjoyable the build process is.

Materials Required

Typical materials used include:

  • PETG for structural parts (We recommend original Bambu Lab filaments to obtain perfect results)
  • Carbon rods or tubes (26 tubes, 3mm in diameter, 18mm long + 2 tubes, 3mm in diameter, 75mm long)
  • 2x Servo (suggested metal gear MG90S)
  • 2x forks for aileron
  • 2x steel rods 1mm to connect servo and aileron
  • heat shrink tube 5mm diameter 2cm long
  • 2x 2x16mm countersunk head wood screws (for EDF cover)
  • 8x 2x10mm countersunk head wood screws (for servo cover)
  • EDF 50mm diameter 3S (suggested also 4S)
  • Rubberized tape to support the EDF
  • cyanoacrylate glue
  • ESC brushless 40A 3-4S
  • receiver 3 channels (for example this one)
  • battery 3S or 4S depending by the motor 2200mA 100C (like this)
  • Neodymium magnet 5x1mm

All components are easy to source and widely available.

Pre-Flight Checks

Before flying, make sure to:

  • Verify correct center of gravity
  • Check control surface directions
  • Ensure all linkages are secure
  • Confirm EDF rotation and throttle calibration
  • Perform a full radio range check

These steps are essential, especially given the aircraft’s high performance.

Launch Method (Very Important)

⚠️ Important Notice for Beginners

GASB TWO is a very fast jet with a high stall speed.

  • Hand launching is NOT recommended
  • For beginners, an elastic (bungee) launch system is mandatory

With a proper elastic launch, even less experienced pilots can successfully fly GASB TWO and enjoy its performance safely.

Once airborne, the jet is stable and predictable, but it demands respect, as any true high-speed aircraft does.

Flight Characteristics

  • Extremely fast and dynamic
  • Spectacular passes at full throttle
  • Strong presence in the air
  • Designed for experienced pilots, but accessible to beginners with proper launch technique

Watching GASB TWO fly is an experience — and flying it yourself is unforgettable.

Community & Proven Success

With tens of thousands of downloads and countless successful flights worldwide, GASB TWO is a battle-tested design.

Search YouTube and you will find:

  • High-speed flight footage
  • Build logs
  • Maiden flights
  • Long-term use videos

This aircraft has already earned its place in RC jet history.

Final Words

GASB TWO is more than a model — it’s a statement.
A fully 3D-printed jet that delivers real jet performance, stunning looks, and an incredibly satisfying build experience.

If you want to print something iconic, fast, and spectacular, this is the jet you’ve been looking for.

Happy printing — and clear skies ✈️🔥

If you enjoy this RC aircraft model, I’d truly appreciate your support by downloading it, leaving a 5-star rating on the print profile, sharing a boost, and dropping a comment—I read and reply to every single one, and your engagement really helps the project grow!
