Festool Splinter Guard (SP-TS 55 R/5 compatible)

This is a 3D-printable splinter guard designed as a functional equivalent to the Festool Splitterschutz SP-TS 55 R/5 (499011). It mounts in place of the sight window and helps achieve cleaner, chip-free cuts on the right side of the blade—with or without a guide rail.

Important: You must use the original Festool nut (“Mutter”) for mounting. This model does not include the nut—only the plastic splinter guard part.

Compatibility (based on the original accessory)

Fits saws that use the SP-TS 55 R/5 style splinter guard, commonly listed as compatible with:

• TS 55 R
• TS 55 F
• TSC 55 / TSC 55 K

How to use:

1. Remove the existing sight window / installed part.
2. Install this printed splinter guard using your original Festool nut.
3. Adjust height if needed.
4. On first use, make a careful initial plunge cut so the guard trims itself perfectly to your blade (just like the OEM part).
