Description

This enclosure is designed for IoT devices and wall-mounted electronics projects. The case is split into two halves and mounted to a wall using four M3 screws, providing a secure and stable installation for permanent or semi-permanent setups.

The enclosure is assembled using four M3x8 screws and M3 heat-set threaded inserts, ensuring strong and reliable threads suitable for repeated opening and closing. Installation of the heat inserts is required.

Sizes

Two sizes are available:

  • Standard (smaller)
  • Large (slightly bigger)

This allows you to choose the most suitable version depending on your electronics and internal layout.

Print Profiles & Materials

Two dedicated print profiles are included:

  • PLA – easy to print, suitable for low-temperature environments
  • PETG – improved durability and heat resistance for more demanding conditions

Assembly Notes

After printing, M3 heat-set inserts must be installed before final assembly. The inserts provide durable threads and improve long-term reliability. The two halves of the enclosure are then secured using four M3x8 screws.

All required hardware and components are listed in the Material Bill, making it easy to prepare everything before assembly.

Outdoor Use Warning

This enclosure is not weather-sealed by default. If you plan to use it outdoors, additional sealing is required, such as gaskets, silicone sealant, or other appropriate waterproofing methods, to protect the electronics from moisture and environmental exposure.
