[Toolhead Hotend for P2S, PTFE Guide]
This design prevents the PTFE pipe from rubbing against the top glass surface and side frame.
Many P2S users believe the white powder is caused by the pipe rubbing against the top glass, but this is incorrect.
After observing the movement of the P2S pipe and analyzing the cause, we determined that the white powder was not caused by the PTFE pipe rubbing against the top glass, but rather by the steel frame edge of the side glass support.
To improve this, we designed the PTFE pipe guide for the toolhead hotend. A specific portion of the top of the toolhead PTFE insert was designed to be straight to reduce filament loading resistance. Through trial and error, we optimized the height of the 90-degree curve and the angle of the descending curve to ensure smooth operation after installation.
We directly modeled the brim and support to account for shrinkage when printing with ABS. The attached settings allow for printing with a layer thickness of 0.2mm. Due to heat distortion, we recommend using ABS or PETG filament.
Please refer to the attached photos for assembly instructions. Apply a small amount of lubricant to the bottom of the rotating parts to reduce friction.
This design is my own creation, so commercial use is prohibited.
Printing for personal use is permitted.
Have fun using your 3D printer! ^^
