Description

P1S Mini Assembly instructions:

Required:

  • All printed parts (Including 2 sideplates)
  • 10cm long piece of (black) filament
  • Superglue
  • 6.78x6.40cm Laser cut acrylic
  • Sandpaper / file
  • Support removers
  • Scissors

Assembly:

  1. Remove all supports – if using my GCODE, use a pin to push a support out of the small circular hole in the door. This is where the filament will act as a hinge
  2. Put a sideplate on each side of the body in the grooves – no glue required
  3. Put the acrylic into the door – you may need to sand the acrylic a bit
  4. Push the door into the front of the printer body
  5. Slot the filament through the hole on the top so that it goes through the door, and into the bottom of the body. Cut the excess of from the top
  6. Glue the door handle to the notch on the door
  7. Slide the toolhead onto the XY rod and glue it to your preferred place, in the channels on the inside of the printer.

Notes:

  • I highly recommend using my GCODE as I have fine-tuned the print settings
  • I have not tried ‘build plate only’ supports on the body of the printer – use at your own risk. I only included this as it can take 10-ish minutes to remove the supports from inside the printer
  • Due to tolerances and measurements, this model is not scalable yet
  • EDIT: I have now published an AMS model that is compatible with this one (it can be seen in the cover photos). It can be found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2465704-ams-mini-with-filament-spools#profileId-2706664

I would really appreciate if you could like/boost this model as it took a while to design! Please let me know if there are any improvements which can be made
