Description

Fully 3D Printed Bench Vise with Interchangeable Grips

 This is a 100% 3D printed bench vise, designed for home workshops, garages, and maker spaces. 

The vise features interchangeable gripping inserts, allowing it to securely hold flat, round, or irregularly shaped objects.

 The model is optimized for FDM printing with the minimum possible amount of supports, making it easy to print and assemble on most desktop 3D printers.

 All structural components, including the screw mechanism, are fully printable and do not require any metal parts.

Size: 200x80x180mm 

 

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Insert the longest bolt from the back, and use the printed retaining clip to secure the bolt from the side.
  2. Align the slider with the threaded hole from the other direction, and rotate the bolt to tighten the slider into place.
  3. Tighten the short bolt into the vise from below. Installation complete.
  4. To prevent slider jamming, thoroughly clean away any brim after printing.
  5. If you encounter significant thread resistance, you may need to rotate it back and forth several times to improve thread smoothness and prevent bolt breakage.


*This model, from design to testing, has been optimized for FDM 3D printers, resulting in superior print quality and minimal support structures. Considering the force direction of the vise, I have meticulously refined the design to ensure sufficient strength in the printed mini vise. I hope you enjoy this model.
