Magnetic bread

Here is my sliced bread. Designed and created for my kids and I wanted to share with all of you. The more kids the more joy I would say :). 

The bread is divided in multiple pieces. I used magnets in the prints to make sure they stick to each other. This makes it more fun to play, kids can really slice the bread themselves. I will make some topping and add them as well. 

Print specifications:

• Material: PLA ( I used brown 10800 and desert brown 11401 but feel free to use other collors)
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• layerheight: 0.2mm

Used materials:

I used magnets 25mm x 5mm for the bread. For the ham and the cheese magnets 18mm x 1mm, and for the cucumber and tomato 15mm x 1mm.  You can easily get a few on aliexpress or amazon for little money. It will make the print so much more fun for your kids. 

I build in pauzes in the print so the magnets can be inserted. Please make sure the magnets are at room tempature. Sanding them a little will help the print quality. Some magnets are really smooth and the layers will not stick to the magnet. This can lead to printing problems.
