Description

☁️ Cloudlet - A tiny atmospheric system for your indoor jungle.

Cloudlet is a slow-drip irrigator designed to turn a routine chore into a moment of domestic magic. It’s a clean, bubbly reservoir that hovers over your soil, delivering a steady drink exactly where it’s needed.

To achieve the "floating" effect, I recommend printing the stake in transparent, green, blue, or brown filaments. Choosing a color that blends with your plant or soil helps the stake disappear, making the cloud look like it’s drifting mid-air.

📦 Parts List

  • Cloudlet Reservoir (with filling hole on top)
    • Regular drip speed
    • Slow drip speed
  • Support Stake (2 sizes)

🖨️ Print Instructions

  • Supports: Required for the cloud body.
  • The "Invisible" Hack: You do not need to remove the internal supports from inside the cloud. They stay hidden, and leaving them in saves you the hassle while ensuring the top of the cloud prints perfectly.
  • Stake: No supports needed. Use high wall loops or 100% infill for strength.

🔧 Assembly & Safety

  1. Join: Insert the stake into the base of the cloud.
  2. Plant: Gently push the stake into the soil.
  3. Fill: Add water through the top opening.

⚠️ A Note on Weight: While Cloudlet is designed to hold a generous amount of water, please be mindful of physics! Consider the weight of the cloud when full compared to the strength of your chosen filament, the depth of the stake in the soil, and how soft/loose your potting mix is. Make sure it's anchored securely so your mini-weather system doesn't take a tumble.

🌿 Functional Notes

  • Slow Drip: Water exits through precision-modeled holes at the base.
  • Visual Integration: Designed to be minimal and non-distracting in a desk or shelf environment.
