Description
This is Version 2 of my ergonomic mouse pad with wrist rest, designed to improve design, printability, and overall print quality, while keeping comfort as the main focus.
The geometry has been refined with cleaner, more modern lines and optimized for reliable 3D printing and high-quality surface finishes. The wrist rest provides proper support during long work or gaming sessions; even when printed in a rigid material, the shape helps distribute pressure and maintain a comfortable wrist position.
The model consists of three separate printable parts for easy printing and assembly:
The model was printed using Bambu Lab TPU 95A HF, with print settings optimized for this material. For an even softer feel, a lower-durometer TPU is recommended.
For best mouse tracking, the top surface of the mouse pad is designed to be printed facing the build plate to create a fine matte texture.
➡️ This orientation is already set in the provided print profile, so no changes are needed.
Printing the three parts in separate build plates is recommended to ensure the best print quality with low stringing.
Mouse sensors perform best on matte or textured build plates. Glossy plates may reduce tracking accuracy.
The example shown was printed on an OSEQ Great Texture build plate.
