GMC Sierra/Chevy Silverado A-Pillar Handle Mount

GM A‑Pillar Grab Handle Mount Plate – Description

This mount plate replaces the factory bolt cover on GM grab handles used in newer GM trucks. It provides a sturdy mounting point for a RAM ball so you can attach accessories such as a phone mount, GPS, camera, etc.

I am using it on a 2026 GMC Sierra 3500 HD AT4. GM does use differant grab handle designs on differant trims so please verifiy the handle you have is the same as the one pictured

Hardware Requirements

To Install the Mount Plate

• 1× M6 × 25mm cap head screw (replaces factory bolt)

To Install a RAM Ball

• 2× M4 nuts (nylock preferred)
• 2× M4 × 20mm cap head screws

Recommended Print Settings

• 0.2 mm layer height
• 35% gyroid infill
• 6 wall loops (4 may work but 6 recommended)
• Material: PETG or better (PETG‑CF used)
  • PLA is not recommended for vehicle interiors due to heat.

Assembly Instructions

1. Remove the lower grab‑handle bolt cover using an appropriate pry tool.
2. Remove the factory M6 bolt.
3. Press the M4 nuts into the printed mount plate (should be a snug fit).
4. Install the mount plate using the M6 × 25mm cap head screw.
5. Attach your RAM ball using the M4 × 20mm screws.
   • The one shown uses a 1" ball with 1.912" hole spacing.
