Mousetrap Car 2.0 by Jett

This is my first ever design on Makerworld and I really hope you can appreciate the simplistic and lightweight design of this mousetrap car. It has personally done very well in school competitions, and came in first place out of 30 different designs. As expected, some assembly and extra parts (some optional) are required to fully replicate this design. But don't worry! All of the materials and assembly guide are posted below. List of Materials:

• Victor Easy Set Mousetrap x1 (any same-sized mousetrap will work fine)
• Zip-ties x2 (optional)
• Wide sized rubber bands x3
• 1/8 inch diameter dowel / rod x2 (I find that metal works best)
• Thin string x1 (Size of the string depends on how many times you plan to wind the car)
• Hot glue gun / super glue

• 3D printed parts

   

  (PS: Dental floss is a great / cheap option for string, it is actually what I used when testing)
