This toolhead front cover support hook is designed to help make nozzle changes and routine maintenance easier and quicker. It securely holds the toolhead front cover out of the way so you can work comfortably without needing to disconnect the fan cable, saving time and reducing wear on delicate connectors.

 

The integrated arm on the hook precisely positions it to keep the front cover at the ideal distance from the toolhead, placing zero strain on the fan cable. For added security, the arm design includes a provision for press fitting a 5×2mm magnet, which attaches to the small screw on the side of the toolhead. This magnetic retention keeps the hook firmly in place and prevents shifting if it’s accidentally bumped while swapping nozzles or performing service. Finally a tab on the base allows for adding a split ring keychain / lanyard to make it more visually obvious so you don't forget to remove it before your next print. Simple, compact, and secure.
