Description
The Lynn is a functional hanging planter designed with root health, airflow, and moisture balance as the primary goals. It was developed through real-world use in a home grow space, not as a decorative model, but as a planter meant to be printed, used, and relied on.
The body features vertical side vents that promote airflow through the root zone, helping prevent compaction and stagnant moisture while still supporting humidity within the substrate. At the base, an internal cup-style reservoir holds a small amount of water below the root zone. This acts as a passive moisture buffer, slowing dry-down without leaving roots sitting in water. Roots are encouraged to grow toward moisture rather than remain saturated.
The integrated hanger system is lightweight, balanced, and designed to print cleanly without supports. The pot geometry supports a wide range of airy substrates and performs especially well with modern soilless or chunky mixes.
The Lynn was designed to be:
This is a planter I use daily in my own collection.
Simple, functional, and designed with roots in mind.
Roots first. Always.
