USB-C dust plug/cap/cover with tab for phone case

USB-C plugs are very small so it is easy to loose them. Thats why I designed this variant with a tab that goes between the phone and the case.

This has to be printed from a flexible material. I recommend TPU 85A.

There are different plates for different sizes. Although it´s the same port not all phones have exacly the same cutout size. Furthermore the resulting size varies due to various factors such as moisture in the filament, filament type, filament manufacturer, …

For my Samsung Galaxy S23 original size fits best. For a Samsung Galaxy A54 I had to scale it up to 102%.

How to attach:

1. remove phone from case
2. plug the usb-c port with the tab facing to the backside of the phone
3. put the phone back into the case, with the usb-port-side first
