Update – Feb 2026: New Earring Inserts Added

 

I’ve added new earring inserts to the model.
This includes inserts for hanging earrings and studded earrings. For the studded versions, there are multiple hole spacing options, and the hole-to-hole distance is stated directly in the file name for easy selection.

If you need to swap inserts after installation, you can use a long sharp object (like a pin) through the earring hole to pull the insert out.

A cute Korean finger-heart–inspired magnetic photo frame with a hidden jewelry compartment, designed for meaningful gifting and special moments.

The photo frame magnetically attaches to the front. When removed, it reveals a hidden cavity that can store rings, earrings or small keepsakes. Perfect for surprises and memorable reveals.

🧲 Magnet Requirements (Important)

• Magnet size: 6 × 2 mm (round)
• Magnet holes are designed for 2 mm depth with a small allowance

Magnets should:

• Fit by press-fit
• If loose, use a small amount of super glue

⚠️ Important:
Please triple-check magnet polarity before inserting and gluing. Incorrect polarity will prevent the frame from attaching correctly and the magnets will not be easy to remove without some damage in the process.

🛠️ Assembly Notes

• Ring inserts (push-fit)
  Ring inserts are designed as a push-fit. They are meant to fit snugly and stay in place. The first insertion may feel tight, and you may notice some air pressure when pushing the insert in. This is normal.
• A small access hole is included at the bottom of the ring insert to allow removal. To swap inserts, insert a small hex key into the hole and pull the insert out. If the insert is very tight, pliers can be used to grip the hex key for additional leverage.
• Hand insert print orientation
  The hand is oriented so the visible surface is suitable for ironing, giving a clean, smooth finish instead of the build plate texture.
  If you prefer the build plate texture or do not want to use ironing, you may reorient the part before printing.
• Magnet installation
  Designed for 6×2 mm magnets. Magnet depth is set to 2 mm with a small allowance for press-fit.
  If magnets fit loosely, a small amount of super glue can be used.
  Please triple-check magnet polarity before inserting.
• Modular system
  Multiple ring insert sizes are included, along with printable test templates to check fit before printing the actual insert.
  Additional inserts (e.g. earrings) will be added in future updates.
