Create your custom puzzle for free in a few minutes

You no longer need HueForge to personalize this puzzle.

The easiest way is to use TanskyLab:

tanskylab.com

Upload your photo, crop it, choose your filament colors, and generate a ready-to-print Bambu Studio project. You will get a complete 3MF file that opens directly in Bambu Studio. Then you only need to check your filaments and click print.

This is the recommended workflow if you want the fastest and simplest way to create a personalized puzzle.

What is included

This project is a customizable 100-piece puzzle set with a frame and a display stand. It is designed for creating personal photo puzzles, gifts, family photos, pet portraits, artwork, or keepsakes.

The finished puzzle can be assembled and placed in the included frame or displayed using the stand.

Typical assembly time is around 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on skill level.

Recommended workflow: TanskyLab

1. Go to: https://tanskylab.com

2. Choose this vertical 100-piece puzzle project.

3. Upload your photo.

4. Crop and adjust the image.

5. Choose up to 4 filament colors.

6. Adjust contrast, midtones, and small detail cleanup if needed.

7. Generate the project.

8. Download the ready 3MF file or open it directly in Bambu Studio.

9. Load the matching filaments and print.

The generated file is already prepared for this puzzle template, so you do not need to manually replace STL files or set up HueForge.

Optional advanced workflow: HueForge

The set requires the HueForge software for customization.

Instructions: (screen shots in PDF file)

  1. Download and Open the 3MF File: Start by downloading the provided 3MF file and opening it in your preferred 3D printing software.
  2. Personalize in HueForge:
    • Launch HueForge and upload the image you want to use on your puzzle.
    • Set the following parameters:
      • Width: 116 - 160 (everything beyond 116 will be cut off)
      • Height: 155 - 160 (everything beyond 155 will be cut off)
      • Border Width: 0
      • Border Depth: 0
    • Go to the Model Geometry tab and configure:
      • Min Depth: 2.00
      • Max Depth: 2.56 - 2.80
  3. Adjust Color Profiles: Customize the number of layers for each color in HueForge according to your design. Remember, consistency is key-set the same number of layers per color later in your slicer software!
  4. Export the STL File: Once you've adjusted your design, select File -> Export STLand save your file.
  5. Prepare the Model for Printing in the Slicer:
    • Open your slicer software and go to the Objects tab.
    • Select Plate 1 and expand stach_front_155x115.
    • Right-click on vertical_100_155x233 and choose Replace with STL. Select the STL file you exported from HueForge.
    • Match the number of color layers from your HueForge project in the slicer settings.
  6. Verify and Print: Double-check your settings to ensure everything is correct. Once verified, start printing your customized puzzle!

Thanks to its simple color sequence, this project can easily be adapted for manual color swaps if your 3D printer doesn’t have an automatic filament change system. Feel free to explore and add your unique designs!
