Description

This realistic rock cliff background is not just a aquarium or terrarium background it’s a functional hardscape featuring two integrated planting bowls, allowing you to create dramatic verticality and depth in your setup easily. Perfect for succulents, mossariums, small ferns, or even as a dry landscape for arid-loving plants.

🌟 Key Features:

  • Realistic Texture: Highly detailed rock sculpting that catches light beautifully and looks natural.
  • Dual Integrated Planters: Two organic shaped bowls built directly into the cliff face. No need for separate pots or complicated gluing.
  • Instant Verticality: Adds immediate height and interest, turning a flat substrate layer into a dynamic 3D landscape.
  • Versatile Use: Suitable for both humid setups (moss, tropical plants) and dry setups (succulents, cacti), depending on your printing material choices.

📏 Dimensions:

  • Height: 25 cm
  • Width: 25 cm
  • Depth (at deepest point): 13 cm

🖨️ Print Settings:

  • Material:
    • For Dry/Arid setups (succulents): PLA Matte Grey works perfectly and looks like real stone.
    • For Humid/Wet setups (moss, ferns): PETG is highly recommended for long-term water resistance and durability.
  • Supports: Model is designed to be printed without supports
  • Infill: 5-15% Gyroid (or similar robust pattern) is sufficient.
  • Walls/Perimeters: 2-3 walls is sufficent for strenght.
  • Layer Height: 0.16mm provides a good detail. The rock texture hides layer lines well.

🌿 Setup Ideas:

  1. Place the printed model against the back wall of your empty terrarium.
  2. Fill the bottom basin and the upper bowls with appropriate substrate (leca balls for drainage, followed by soil/terrarium mix).
  3. Plant your favorite small flora into the integrated bowls.
  4. Add moss into the crevices of the rock texture for an aged, natural look.
  5. Optional: Create a small water feature in the bottom basin (ensure your print is watertight first!).
