I designed a replacement tether/cable that holds the fuel cap. Since there are many similar designs available online and the one I printed didn’t fit properly, I decided to design my own version that definitely fits.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. When opening the fuel flap, detach the original tether from the plastic clip.
2. Using a small flathead screwdriver, tweezers, or even a pen, push out the two small pins from the fuel cap (DO NOT LOSE THEM!).
3. Install the new tether and insert the original pins back into the holder on the fuel cap.
   If you lost them—congratulations—try using a small piece of filament instead.
4. Reinstall everything back in place.

I’m especially interested in designing replacement parts for missing or broken automotive components, as well as other everyday items, tools, or accessories that commonly fail with regular use.
