The Wine Tap V2

The Wine Tap Version 2.0

This quick little print brings the easy of use of a tap handle to the unfriendly tap that is on boxed wine. 

To use simply slide The Wine Tap onto the tap that is on the boxed wine and then screw the two bolts into the holes on each side of the tap.  Screw the tap handle into place and then to use simply pull the tap handle forward.

Now supports the Push Button Style as well!

Most of the testing I have done with this has been with The Elevated Wine Box V1 that I created which can be found at:

As the boxes that come with boxed wine are normally not very stiff I have created a bracket that helps:

The bracket can be used on it's own or a string / ribbon / shoe lace can be inserted through the channel on the back of the bracket and then you can tie it at the back of the box.  This helps keep the bracket tight against the box when using the tap.

I have also created some stands for the tap handles to store them when not in use.  These are currently available to hold 20, 16 or 12 tap handles.  I've also provided TPU feet that can be glued onto the bottom of the stands.
