Description
I once bought some PLA samples in different colors that I use from time to time. They have many special colors, and I would probably never use a whole spool of them in my lifetime.
Many of you have probably also received a filament sample without a spool. The problem starts with feeding it into the AMS Lite, especially if you don't have the external filament holder. A loose roll of filament often gets stuck or jams. It's easier to hang the filament on something else, but if the spool gets tangled, it can make a big mess when the printer pulls on it.
My spool is an elegant solution! 💡
The idea was to create a "quick" spool, using as little filament as possible. My model weighs 28g (on my kitchen scale) or 29.5g according to Bambu Studio.
It's designed to fit the AMS Lite perfectly. The internal dimensions are identical to the original Bambu Lab spool.
Print time for 0.6mm/0.2mm (A1): about 1 hour 15 minutes.

3D Printing Settings:
- Printed in PLA with a 0.6mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height.
- Lower quality is not recommended because of the thread.
- Higher resolutions will make the print look better but will increase the printing time.
