Part of the KWS Rack v2 system
Main rack here
What is this?
This is a 2U module that stores all your rack’s power supplies in one clean place.
It’s designed for high airflow + tidy wiring:
- The front is a printed mesh/net (minimal, clean look) that lets air flow into the rack.
- Inside there’s a vented shelf where you can stack your power supplies.
- In the middle of the shelf you can secure PSUs with zip ties.
- Along the back edge there are cable wrap tabs so you can coil leftover cable length neatly and keep the rack organized.
Airflow & cooling
- The module is built around front intake airflow to help cool the PSU stack.
- If you want active cooling, you can mount 2× 80mm fans behind the front mesh (optional).
Note: In the photos you may see fans, but the default front panel is just a mesh/net.
Hardware / Assembly
To mount the shelf to the front panel:
- M4 screws + nuts (use the holes in the shelf and front brackets)
PSU mounting:
- Use zip ties through the shelf openings to lock power supplies in place.
Optional upgrades (recommended)
Lightbox (looks amazing)
In the middle I’ve got a KWS lightbox with a WLED-controlled LED inside.

Cable management mounts
For clean routing and strain relief, use my cable mounts
Back cable pass-through
On the backside I used one of the “brush cable management” panels on MakerWorld to let cable bundles exit cleanly.
This is one more module in the KWS Rack v2 ecosystem.
