Description
Need a bit of home defense from those doorbell goblins? Get yourself a T-Rex! Fully customizable text and positioning. Should be easy to change the text if you'd rather remove or add something. Few things to consider on how the text works, text is floating 0.6mm above the plate and is a negative modifier. Resizing works as long as you don't change the height of the model, 2.0mm. Current model is 200x200x2 when it prints. Can be downsized to fit on a A1mini.
Everything is well labeled in the Object settings and should be fairly easy to customize to your liking. Check text setting there for font, sizing and message. Right click on the individual object setting to open the text menu.
Two colors, no AMS required. Change color at layer 3 to the color you want the text/trex to be. Change back to your top color on layer 6. The text and image are recessed.
I forgot to take a photo of the print without the resin on it. But it prints very nice. Keep your text size reasonably large so that it's readable. When text is recessed making it to small will make it harder to read. Since this is going outside, use a UV resin protector or filament that is UV resistant. Place the doorbell where it makes sense for your text or attach the sign in another manor/location that meets your needs.
A fun and simple way to deter unwanted visitors and encourage them to leave with a smile on their face.
