☁️ The Honest Shelf Vol. 55 // The Tulip Vase ☁️
Bring a touch of organic elegance to your space with this wrapping petal design.
✨ TIP: While it prints perfectly smooth, you can experiment with the "Fuzzy Skin" setting in your slicer! It gives the vase a beautiful, soft matte texture that looks like high-end ceramic and catches the light wonderfully.
The Design Story I designed Vol. 55 to capture the gentle moment a tulip petal wraps around itself. I wanted a shape that felt organic, soft, and flowing, even though it's 3D printed rigid. I spent a lot of time refining the curves so they catch the light just right—it looks particularly stunning sitting on a windowsill in the morning sun.
It's meant to be a calm, minimalist piece. It looks perfect holding a single stem of eucalyptus, a small bunch of dried pampas grass, or just standing alone as a sculptural object.
Why it belongs on your shelf: This vase is incredibly versatile. It fits perfectly into any Japandi, Scandi, or modern minimalist interior. While one looks great, grouping 2 or 3 in different complementary colors creates a real statement piece for your tabletop or shelf.
🎨 Color Guide & Inspiration: This design shines with matte materials that highlight its form rather than its shine.
