Roses - Screw Together, No Glue

No more messing about with glue, simply chose which rose stem and wrapped leaf, print, screw together.

 

This is a remix to make all parts screw together and also resolve the issues of support on the pre-shaped rose head leaves (print without support).

 

Printing Instructions:
Use the 3mf, not the stl. The reason is licensing - modifying the rose is not possible directly, so I have designed and used negative parts in the slicer which is allowed. Using the stl will not have these negative parts and it will not work!

 

A1 Mini and other smaller build plate printers, and no AMS, use the individual items (Print Profile 3 - Individual)

Issues - Usually speed, see an issue, drop the speed to 50% in App\Lab. If not speed, stringing, dry your filament!
 

Print Profile 1 - Heat shape rose head leaf - Rose All on 1 Plate (No Leaf Stem, Rose Head, Heat form Under head Leaf)

• Remove support from stem.
• Screw together after printing, hairdryer on the leaf below the rose head, bend leaves round to be up against the rose head.
• Post processing time - 4 minutes

Print Profile 2 - Print in place rose head leaf - Rose All on 1 Plate (No Leaf Stem, Rose Head, Print In Place Leaf)

• Remove support from stem.
• Screw together after printing.
• Post processing time - 30 seconds

Print Profile 3 - Individual Items 

• Rose Head
• Stem With No Leaves (Remove support)
• Stem With Leaves (Apply heat - hairdryer - Bend leaves to a more natural shape)
• Under Rose Leaves Flat - (Apply heat - hairdryer - Bend leaves to a more natural shape)
• Under Rose Leaf - Print in place, no support
