Thick Drip Deck Box | MtG, Pokemon & Lorcana

I redesigned my popular thick drip deck boxes (60 and 100 cards variants) from scratch. As I have been asked for more sizes, my primary goal was to have more size variety. However, these models are not easily parameterisable, so I had to redesign a unique side face for each of the four new sizes available. Initially, I wanted to make them hardware-free by reusing some of the 3D printed hinges I experimented with in my other designs. However after some prototyping, that proved too challenging to make work with this particular geometry. So I resolved to fall back to our beloved round magnets. However, this time, I provided two different magnet sizes for each combination: 8x2mm and 6x2mm.

Cards

This deck box fits 60, 80 or 100 single-sleeved standard 88 mm x 63 mm cards. This is the default format for Magic: the Gathering, Lorcana and Pokemon cards. Sleeves are slightly larger than the card themselves, usually around 90mm x 65mm. The empty volume inside this deck box is the following (by size):

• 60 cards → 42mm deep, 95mm tall, 70mm wide
• 80 cards → 58mm deep, 95mm tall, 70mm wide
• 100 cards → 72mm deep, 95mm tall, 70mm wide
• 120 cards → 86mm deep, 95mm tall, 70mm wide

Printing instructions

There are four profiles. Each profile is a combination of:

• Style: with droplets or without droplets
• Magnet: 8x2mm or 6x2mm

Each profile contains EIGHT plates. All plates are labelled. Find the plates corresponding to the deck box size you want (base + lid) and print them. All profiles include an outer brim to avoid warping (it's quite cold here). Feel free to remove them.

Assembly instructions

You will only need 8 (60, 80 and 100 cards) or 10 (120 cards) magnets of your chosen size. Glue them in the allotted slots with clear super glue.
