Alphabet, Nummern, Sonderzeichen Magnet

Es handelt sich um ein Alphabet inkl. Nummern und Sonderzeichen in der Schriftart “Rockwell”.

Die Objekte sind 30x30x8mm.

 

Die Objekte haben die Möglichkeit dass man innenliegende Magnete anbringen kann.

Somit sind die Magnete von außen nicht sichtbar, bauen nicht zusätzlich auf und es ist auch kein kleben von Magneten erforderlich.

Bei den Magneten handelt es sich um Standardrundmagnete 6mm Durchmesse, 3mm Höhe.
 

 

Vorgehen ist:

• Die Pause sollte in der 3mf Daten bereits richtig gesetzt sein und muss sich auf dem Layer Nr. 18 befinden. Das sollte im “Slice-Plate” Menü dann sichtbar sein. Falls das nicht so ist. Bitte die Pause hinzufügen indem mal auf dem rechten Balken den grünen Punkt auf Layer Nr. 18 zieht → rechte Maustaste → Add Pause.
• Druck starten, der Druck pausiert dann bei Layer Nr. 18
• Dann die Magnete einlegen. 1 Magnet reicht. 2, 3 oder 4 sind natürlich noch besser
• Dann den Druck fortsetzen (geht direkt am Display am Drucker)

 

Falls man die das nicht magnetisch haben möchte, dann kann man die Pause entweder direkt im Slicer-Menü löschen oder wenn die Pause kommt eben auf Druck fortsetzen klicken.

 

Mögliche Anpassungen:

Anpassung Größe:

Die Objekte können beliebig groß skaliert werden. Hierbei sollte am besten ein Objekt auf eine eigene Platte gelegt werden. 
Hinweis: Die Aussparungen für die Magnete wachsen natürlich mit :-)

• Im Symbolmenü auf den 2-ten Punkt klicken “Add Plate”
• Dann ein Objekt auf das neue Plate schieben 
• Im Symbolmenü auf “Scale” klicken und die neuen Abmessungen eingeben. 
  Hinweis: ggf. die checkbox “uniform scale” rausnehmen damit die Höhe nicht im gleichen Umfang mit wächst. 

Anpassung Farbe:

• Im linken Menüteil bei Process auf “Objects” klicken
• Dann das zu ändernde Objekt auf der Plate anklicken. Es sollte dann in dem linken Menüteil auch markiert werden
• Dort das Dropdown aufklicken. So kann man einfach die Farbe vom Objekt und von der Schrift einzeln anwählen undern.
• Um die weiße Farbe unterhalb der Schrift zu ändern muss das Objekt angeklickt werden und in der Symbolmenüleiste auf “Color Painting” geklickt werden
• Dann die Farbe auswählen und auf das Symbol “Fill” klicken. Wichtig “Edge detection” anwählen.

Anpassung Schrift:

Es kann sowohl die Schriftart als auch der komplette Inhalt angepasst werden. Z.B. Wenn man für ein Geburtstag die Zahl 50 drin stehen haben will.

• Doppelklick auf den Text. Falls das nicht geht dann wie bei dem Punk Farbe anpassen das Objekt suchen → “text_shape” anwählen uns in der Symbolleiste auf “Text shape” klicken
• Jetzt kann im Prinzip alles nach Bedarf geändert werden.

 

Zusatzhinweis:

• Auf dem angehängten Foto ist der Druck mit der Schriftart Arial gemacht. Mir hat im Nachgang aber Rockwell besser gefallen
• Auf dem Foto hab ich auch noch ein paar Sonder-Icons mit drauf. Die sind in meinen anderen Druckmodellen zu finden.

This is an alphabet including numbers and special characters in the Rockwell font.

The objects are 30 × 30 × 8 mm.

The objects allow internal magnets to be inserted.
This way the magnets are not visible from the outside, do not add extra height, and no gluing is required.

The magnets are standard round magnets, 6 mm diameter and 3 mm height.
 

Procedure

The pause should already be correctly set in the 3mf file and should be on layer 18.
You should be able to see this in the Slice Plate menu.

If that is not the case, please add the pause by dragging the green marker on the right bar to layer 18 → right click → Add Pause.

Start the print. The print will pause at layer 18.

Insert the magnets.
One magnet is enough, but two, three or four are even better.

Then continue the print (this can be done directly on the printer display).

If you don’t want the objects to be magnetic, you can either remove the pause directly in the slicer menu or simply press continue printing when the pause occurs.

Possible Adjustments

Adjusting the size

The objects can be scaled to any size.
It is best to place each object on its own plate.

Note: The magnet slots will scale as well :-)

Click the second icon in the symbol menu: “Add Plate”

Then move one object onto the new plate.

Click “Scale” in the symbol menu and enter the new dimensions.

Note: You may want to disable the “uniform scale” checkbox so the height does not increase proportionally.

Changing the color

In the left menu under Process, click “Objects”.

Then select the object you want to change on the plate. It should now also be highlighted in the left menu.

Open the dropdown menu there.
This allows you to change the color of the object and the text separately.

To change the white color underneath the text, select the object and click “Color Painting” in the symbol menu.

Then select the color and click “Fill”.
Important: enable “Edge detection”.

Changing the text

Both the font and the entire content can be changed.
For example, if you want the number 50 for a birthday.

Double-click the text.
If that doesn’t work, find the object the same way as described in the color section → select “text_shape” and click “Text Shape” in the symbol menu.

Now you can modify everything as needed.

Additional note

In the attached photo the print was made using the Arial font.
However, afterwards I liked Rockwell better.
