3D Scan magnetic Marker Block

Reflective markers are an indispensable tool for laser scanning and for easily scanning featureless objects with structured light, but the problem with adhesive markers is that they aren't reusabile.

For this reason it's more convenient to use the Marker Blocks with the markers applied in irregular positions.
I designed various common shapes, and they all have a hole on the bottom for inserting an optional 10x2 or 10x3 magnet.

The complete kit contains one piece of each of these shapes:

• 39 mm dome
• 45 mm dome
• 50 mm dome
• 26 mm ball
• multi-sided pyramid
• multi-sided pyramid with extended base
• raised circular base (3 pyramids are needed to raise it, see photo)
• 150 mm vertical bar (snap multiple bars together to reach any height)
• base for vertical bar
