Description
The large number of filament changes required to achieve the final multicolour result naturally increases print time. The most effective way to reduce overall time is to print multiple cows at once. If you’re wondering how to increase the number of models printed at once, here is a step‑by‑step guide for both Bambu Slicer and the Bambu Handy App.
| Number of Cows | Time (Hours) |
|---|---|
| 1 Cow | 6:26 |
| 2 Cows | 7:03 |
| 3 Cows | 7:40 |
| 4 Cows | 8:19 |
These times were generated using Bambu Slicer on a P1S.
This is my second design of a Flexi Cow. From testing the first version, I noticed several issues. Because the cow is quite small, I originally tried to fit two articulated links, which required shrinking the joint size. This made the joints weaker and too easy to break.
I didn’t feel comfortable sharing a model with this flaw, so I opted for using a single, much stronger link, greatly improving the durability.
This model does require supports under the base. These supports do NOT enter the flexi joints, ensuring easy removal and preventing damage. That’s why you’ll see a red support blocker included in the slicer file.
My collection of flexi models is growing every week. If you’d like to see my past and future flexi designs, check out my profile or click the image below to view the full collection.
