This Snapmaker U1 Modular Build Plate Holder keeps your build plates upright, organized, and protected. Every part prints support‑free and assembles using a precise press‑fit wedge system — no hardware required.

The design is fully modular, letting you build exactly the capacity you need.

 

Modular System

 

The holder expands in 3‑plate increments:
•     Base configuration: 6 plates (front 3 + back 3)
•     Add a middle module: 9 plates
•     Add more modules: 12, 15, 18, and beyond

 

Press‑Fit Bow‑Tie Wedges provide:
•     A tight, reliable press‑fit
•     Consistent alignment
•     Strong mechanical connection
•     Tool‑free assembly and reconfiguration

 

Assembly
1.     Print end pieces, middle modules, and bow‑tie wedges
2.     Slide modules together
3.     Insert wedges to lock everything in place
4.     Add or remove modules anytime

 

Recommended Print Settings:
•     Material: PLA or PETG
•     Layer Height: 0.2 mm
•     Infill: 15–25%
•     Supports: None
•     Orientation: Flat on the bottom surface
