Seed Starting Series: Modular Plug Trays

Part of the Seed Starting Series – a modular system designed for serious seed starting and efficient transplanting workflows.

This modular plug tray system is designed to give maximum flexibility while maintaining stability, durability and clean handling during real gardening work.

Each tray works perfectly on its own, but trays with the same number of cells per side can also be connected to create larger working units. This allows you to scale your setup depending on space, crop type and workflow — from small batches to full propagation sessions.

All trays are fully stackable for compact storage and efficient handling.

The dovetail connections are designed for a very tight and stable fit.
When two trays are connected they lock firmly together to prevent movement during handling, watering and transplanting.
Because of this strong connection, joined trays should generally be considered a semi-permanent setup and are not intended for frequent separation.

All tray sizes and both depths are included as separate print profiles in this model.

Available depths

Two plug depths are available to support different crops and growing strategies:

• 44 mm depth – ideal for fast-growing crops and high turnover
• 70 mm depth – deeper root development and longer growing time in trays
