This is an evolved version of my original jewellery stand, redesigned to offer more flexibility for different collections. It balances a clean, modern aesthetic with functional storage, featuring a dedicated earring lattice and modular trays for rings, bracelets, or smaller items.
What’s New in v2?
Based on experience from the first version, you can customise the following:
Updated Base Customization: You can now adjust the depth and thickness of the base to fit your shelf perfectly.
Modular Tray System: Instead of a fixed layout, you can choose to have either one or two rows of trays, and define how many individual tray segments you want per row. I found that two rows offer the best balance of utility without making the compartments too narrow.
Expanded Stand Designs: I’ve included 8 different decorative plate designs to suit various tastes (see the "Stand Styles" section below).
Customization & Modularity
The beauty of this version is that it can be tailored to your specific organization needs. By clicking the "Customize" button, you can tweak the following:
Base Dimensions: While the width is fixed for stability, you can adjust the depth (front-to-back) and height/thickness.
Note: For the best stability, I recommend a minimum base height of 20mm and a depth of at least 30mm.
Layout: Choose between 1 or 2 rows and specify the number of trays per row.
Color Blocking: Because the trays are removable, you can print them in contrasting colors to create a high-end look without needing an AMS.
Stand Styles
I have uploaded different profiles for the earring holder. You can choose the one that best fits your style:
Botanical: Clematis, Myosotis, Plumeria (Small/Large), and Zinnia/Olive Branch.
Whimsical: Two different "Cats" designs and a "Stars" theme.
Assembly: The parts are designed for a precise friction-fit. Simply drop the trays into the base and insert your chosen stand into the ridge. No glue or sanding should be necessary for a secure fit.
High-End Finish: I recommend printing the stand face-down. This is particularly effective if you are using a textured or 3D effect plate, which can add a professional "glitter" or holographic finish to the front surface.
Organization: * Trays: Print together on a single plate.
Base: Print on its own dedicated plate.
I look forward to seeing the unique colour combinations and customizations you create with this design.
Note on AI Usage
I use AI solely as a tool to create photorealistic lifestyle images and to help polish my written descriptions. Every 3D model is 100% my own original work. I do not use AI to design or generate any geometry, as I believe the true reward of 3D printing is the creative process of bringing a personal idea to life from scratch.
