Detailed Instructions
1. Basic Configuration
- Text_String: Enter your name or message. It fully supports Spanish accents and the letter ñ (e.g., Íñigo, España).
- Group_Number: Select a font group (1 to 5). Each group contains a different aesthetic mix of 20 fonts.
- Font_Index:
- Set to 0 (Todo): Displays all 20 fonts in the current group in a grid.
- Set to 1–20: Selects your single favorite font for the final 3D model.
- Show_Labels: Keep this ON while choosing your font. Switch to OFF before exporting your final STL to remove the identification tags.
2. Styling & Dimensions
- Enable_Wall: Toggle this to add a raised decorative border around the tag.
- Base_Thickness: Adjust the thickness of the nameplate (recommended: 2.0mm).
- Text_Thickness: Set how high the letters stand out from the base.
- Char_Count: Enter the number of characters in your text to help the previewer align the identification labels correctly.
3. Keychain Hole Adjustment
- Hole_Diameter: Customize the opening for your keyring (standard is 4.0mm).
- Hole_X/Y_Adjust: If your text is long, use these sliders to move the loop position so it doesn't clip into the letters.
4. Printing & Multi-Color Tips
- Layer-Based Color Change: This model is optimized for filament swaps. In your slicer, add a "Change Filament" command at the specific layer height where the base ends and the text/wall begins.
- Layer Height: A height of 0.16mm or 0.2mm is ideal. For script fonts with fine details, use 0.12mm for the best result.
- Surface Finish: Enable "Ironing" on the top surface of the text for a smooth, high-quality look.
