Description

This design was inspired by the Infinite Wine Rack, adapted to solve a space issue I encountered when storing cycling bottles inside a standard 60 cm kitchen cabinet.

The rack is dimensioned to comfortably fit standard cycling bottles (74 mm diameter), but also other bottles up to 76mm. I also designed matching spacers to fully utilize the internal width of a standard 60 cm cabinet, preventing unwanted movement.

The model was developed with filament efficiency in mind. It uses enough material to ensure robustness and functionality, without unnecessary decorative elements that would increase print time or filament consumption.

Design Overview

The system consists of only a few simple parts:

  • Hexagonal Ring – Two are required per bottle (one front, one back).
  • Single Connector Arm – Used to connect front and back rings when no adjacent hexagons are present.
  • Double Connector Arm – Used to connect two adjacent rings.
  • End Spacers – Fill the remaining cabinet gap to prevent the rack from sliding.

All parts are designed as pressure-fit components, so in most cases adhesive is not required.
