Nordic Raven Light Sculpture

This model is split into 3 main parts for easier printing and assembly.

The parts are connected using integrated hexagon alignment pins. It is strongly recommended to use glue during assembly for proper strength and long-term stability.

The lamp is designed so the cable runs through the body and is held in place by the beak.

 

The 100% scale model measures approximately 40 cm from beak to tail, giving it an impressive full-size presence.
For those who prefer a more compact version, I’ve also created a 70% scale edition offering the same detailed look in a smaller format, perfectly sized to fit the A1 Mini build plate.

Print Settings

Layer height:

0.2 mm prints very nicely

0.16 mm is recommended if you do not plan to paint and want sharper details

 

Infill:

10% is sufficient

Gyroid recommended

Grid works fine as well

3–4 walls/perimeters recommended for good strength.

Post-Processing (Recommended for Best Finish 0,20)

For a smoother finish:

 

-Light sanding on visible areas

-Apply plastic primer before painting

-Paint in your desired color

 

for the best possible result, you can use filler/putty to smooth seams or small imperfections before or after sanding.
