Customizable, Parametric Drink Mix Packet Holder

This is a customizable drink mix packet holder I designed.

I wanted something simple, yet refined, and scalable so it could be used to store basically anything that can fit in it.

Here's what's adjustable via the Customizer:

• Rows and Columns of compartments. Like a spreadsheet, Rows are the vertical direction, Columns are the horizontal direction.

• Width and Length of each compartment - Since the drink mix packets vary in size. I use a lot of “pitcher packets” and those are larger than typical, single-serve packets.

• Wall Thickness - Self explanatory. This affects the walls as well as the bottom.

• Inside Height - The Height of the holder, measuring from the top surface of the bottom to the top edge of the holder. So the overall height will be whatever you enter here, plus the thickness of the bottom (Wall Thickness).

There's two variations, Embossed and Plain.

• Embossed has a sparkling water emblem I modeled after a magic spell icon from one of my favorite video games from the 90s. Kudos if you know which game it's from!

• Plain is a blank slate. You can leave it as-is or add your own text or logo with an SVG.

Although I designed this particular holder to store my drink mix packets, because it's customizable, it can be used to store anything that you can fit in it. Just adjust the parameters to suit your needs. I added thin rubber feet to mine, but that's optional.

I included two print profiles, Large and Small. 

• Large is the size needed for my larger “pitcher packets”. The compartments are 37mm wide x 70mm long x 100mm tall with 1.2mm thick walls.

• Small is designed to fit most of the single-serve packets. The compartments are 25mm wide x 70mm long x 100mm tall with 1.2mm thick walls.

Within each print profile are four plates: Plain 2x1, Plain 2x2, Embossed 2x1 and Embossed 2x2.
