I redesigned the classic reusable spool to work seamlessly with high-temperature systems like the AMS HT and AMS 2 Pro. When printed with ABS or other high-temperature filaments, it easily withstands the drying temperatures inside the AMS without deformation.

Integrated Filament Clips

• Easy to insert and remove filament while holding it securely
• Prevents slipping without over-bending the filament, so every millimeter remains usable
• Fully flush, embedded design — no risk of jamming during rotation in the dryer
• 6 evenly spaced clips for convenience and better filament management

Core Channel for Easy Respooling

• Designed for respooling non-compatible filaments onto reusable spools
• Guides filament smoothly into place while holding it firmly during winding
• Prevents AMS motor blockage when filament runs out

Reinforced Core Structure

• Stronger center core for improved durability and long-term use

The spool weight is embossed inside for more precise filament measurements.

Material Recommendations:

For AMS drying use: Print in ABS or other heat-resistant materials. 

For standard use: PETG or PLA profiles are included and work perfectly.

 

A printable safety clip is also included for users who want extra security to prevent spool separation.
