Ergonomic Kid's Knife

I designed this knife for my 3-year-old daughter.

The knives we had just weren’t comfortable for her, but she really wanted to cut her own vegetables (you know how kids are!).

So I told her: “I can print you a better one!”

“Make it red!” she said.

 

So there is a red Kid's knife. It’s sharp enough to cut vegetables and even soft foods, but not sharp enough to hurt little fingers. The thick, ergonomic handle is designed specifically for small hands, making it easy and comfortable for kids like her age to grip and use safely.

The blade is replaceable, so the knife can last much longer.

Simple, durable, and easy to assemble.

Parts needed:

-3× M3 × 12 mm screws

-3× M3 heat-set inserts

 

I recommend to use PETG for it, but there is a PLA profile as well.
